MEMS 1xN Single Mode Optical Switch
Module (1×256)
This MEMS 1xN single mode optical switch comes with a modular design, and is offered with port configurations of 1×256. This optical switch, based on Micro-Electro-Mechanical System (MEMS) technology, provides precise channel selection between a single input fiber and up to 256 output fibers. The MEMS mirror rotates to direct the optical light to the desired output fiber, thus enabling seamless transmission, redirection, and blocking of optical signals, making it an indispensable component in modern optical networks.
The MEMS 1xN single mode optical switch is a bi-directional switch that has extensive applications including optical fiber communication and fiber sensing. Amazelink, a specialist in MEMS optical switches, supplies a variety of optical switches that are RoHS compliant and Telcordia GR-1073-CORE approved.
