OZM340-10M is a manufacturing machine primarily used to produce both oral thin films and transdermal patches. It is currently the oral thin film & transdermal patch making machine with the highest output which is three times the conventional medium-scale production equipment. This transdermal patch manufacturing equipment is appropriate for the healthcare, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical industries to make thin film-like materials by placing laminated film on top of liquid components that are laid out uniformly and flatly on the bottom film.

  • Suitable for laminating of paper, film, and metallic film coating; the entire machine adopts frequency converter stepless speed regulation system, and unwinding unit uses magnetic powder brake tension control;
  • The transdermal patch making machine is constructed with a structure consisting of main body and multiple modules, each of which can be independently disassembled and assembled by using positioning pins and fastening screws;

    1. Film Making Section

      • The film making station adopts automatic scraper unit, enabling the coating layer uniform and smooth;
      • Materials are automatically loaded by peristaltic pump;
      • The coating width can be easily adjusted, effectively avoiding the waste of raw materials;
      • The thickness of finished film is adjustable thanks to the servo system, it can be achieved by simply inputting the thickness via touch screen;
    1. Unwinding & Rewinding Section

      • Air expanding shafts are used for film roll positioning, giving operator an exceptional convenience for film roll changing;
      • Tension control system is configured to maintain the tension of the film;
      • Web guiding system is available to ensure that the film is well positioned during operation;
  • Drying Section

    • Independent modular drying section can be designed and manufactured with customer-specific length, the maximum drying speed can reach 2.5m/min;
    • Built-in sensors for temperature, humidity and solvent concentration are equipped, and PID control is achieved by PLC system, ensuring the stability and safety of the internal environment;
    • Built-in H14 HEPA high-efficiency filter ensures that the heated air complies with GMP requirements;
    • Safety protection door is equipped to assure the safety of operators when they are working., and also prevent the heat from influencing the workshop temperature while lessening the heat loss;
  • HMI Interface

    • 15-inch touch screen, with data backup/restoration function, IP54 protection grade;
    • Three-level password protection, graphical representation of entire machine allows operator to easily control each station;
    • Functions of electronic signature and audit trail are available, in compliance with the requirements of FDA;
