Continuous Fluid Bed Dryer
Description
This continuous fluid bed dryer is a type of fluidizing dryer that consists of an air filter, a heater, fluidizing bed, feeder, cyclone separator, duster and a high pressure centrifuge fan. Because the properties of raw materials can vary, the drying equipment features adjustable settings and modular pieces to handle any drying application. The dryer is air fed and also features an optional belt conveyor.
Applications
The design of the continuous fluid bed dryer has been improving for the past 30 years and these machines are often found in pharmaceutical, chemical and food processing industries. The equipment is specifically designed for drying granules with a diameter within the range of 0.1 to 6mm. The ideal sizes are 0.5 to 3mm for the best drying effects.

Working Principle
Clean, hot air enters the fluidization bed through the valve plate and wet material is fed from the feeder into the fluidizing dryer. The dryer is suitable for thermally sensitive materials because of the short amount of time that the material comes in contact with the dryer chamber surface.
