CNG Cylinder (Made by Deep Drawing and Ironing Process)
The deep drawing and ironing CNG cylinder is extensively used for taxis, minibuses, buses, sanitation vehicles and many others. It can reduce both operating cost and air pollution, so we recommend the eco-friendly fuel storage system.
To date our company has produced up to 80,000 compressed natural gas cylinders. Till the end of June 2015, our production capacity will reach 250,000 pieces. During a period from April 2014 to April 2015, we have sold 20,000 deep drawing and ironing CNG cylinders. The composite cylinder is mostly exported to Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkey and other countries.
Advantage of the Deep Drawing and Ironing CNG Cylinder
This kind of CNG tank is 10% lighter than a traditional tubular gas cylinder. It is also much safer than the traditional tubular cylinder.
A: Difference between the Uses of Two Raw Materials
1. A traditional tubular cylinder is made using a cold-drawn seamless steel tube as raw material. Hot rolling and cold drawing of steel tubes may cause a variety of defects such as scratches, straight lines, folds and spots. When these defects appear on the inner wall of the steel tube, they will not be easily detected or removed. The wall thickness deviation ranges from 0 to 15%.
2. Our deep drawing and ironing cylinder is constructed using a hot-rolled steel plate as raw material. It will produce fewer defects than a traditional product, and these defects can be easily found and eliminated. The wall thickness deviation of our CNG storage system varies from 0 to 3%.
B: Difference between Two Manufacturing Techniques
1. The liner of the tubular cylinder is manufactured using steel pipe spinning technology. The wall thickness of the bottom is several times as high as that of the cylinder body. The bottom of the gas cylinder is made using thermal fusion technology, which may cause air leakage and other potential problems. The use of hot spinning technology will produce a protrusion in the center of bottom that needs to be cut.
2. Our deep drawing and ironing CNG cylinder is made by adoption of advanced technology, thus making the wall thickness of the bottom identical to that of the cylinder body. Its bottom retains the original properties of raw materials, thus completely eliminating the problem of air leakage from the bottom.
We offer deep drawing and ironing composite cylinder with the volume of 55~150L, we also can customize composite cylinder according to your special requirements.
