1. High Abrasion Resistance and Long Life
As a selection of UHMWPE machined parts, these port machinery parts have exceedingly high abrasion resistance, 10 times higher than that of HDPE and 7 times higher than that of steel. UHMWPE rollers are subjected to continuous abrasion in extreme applications.
2. Impact Resistance and Impact Energy Absorbing
UHMWPE has the highest impact resistance of any engineering plastic, about three times as high as that of nylon, two times the resistance of PC, and five times that of ABS. Hence, our UHMWPE port machinery accessories retain their strength all the way down to -196℃.
3. Effective Sealing System
Dust and water are effectively prevented from leaking into the system through a primary labyrinth seal. The narrow clearance between the bearing house and shaft forms the second sealing. The bearing house is constructed from UHMWPE which has is anti-adhesion and repels dust and water.
4. Light Weight and Energy Saving
UHMWPE rollers are only a third of the weight of steel rollers. They are even lighter than HDPE rollers while boasting superior strength. The material’s light weight and low friction result in considerable energy savings.
5. Reduced Belt or Rope Damage
UHMWPE is self-lubricating and prevents the adhesion of any transferring material, which prevents damage to the conveyor belt.
6. Corrosion Resistance
UHMWPE roller can withstand moisture, corrosive chemicals, acids, salt, and alkalis.
