Hydraulic Vulcanizing Press
- Minimum Vulcanization Width: 650mm
- Maximum Vulcanization Width: 2400mm
The hydraulic vulcanizing press is engineered for cold climate applications, where traditional water-cooled vulcanizers may fail due to freezing or pipe damage. Designed without the need for water-based cooling systems, this model ensures uninterrupted performance even in sub-zero temperatures, making it an ideal solution for operations in Arctic or winter-prone regions.
The standard heating plate length is 840 mm, with additional options available in 455 mm, 654 mm, 710 mm, and 1000 mm, allowing flexibility to match different belt sizes and splice lengths. Built to perform in harsh environments, the hydraulic press offers consistent pressure and reliable heating ensuring splice integrity regardless of external conditions.
- Maximum Operating Temperature: 200°C
- Surface Pressure: Up to 125 N/cm²
- Time to Reach Operating Temperature: Up to 45 minutes
- Platen Angle (Rhomboid Model): 16°42′ (All heating plates follow this angle, measured from the left-hand edge).
- Working Temperature Range: 145°C – 160°C
- Maximum Heating Time to 160°C: 45 minutes
- Temperature Uniformity as Steady State: ±4°C across the platen surface
- Power Supply Options: 220V, 380V, 400V, 440V, 480V, 525V (Three-phase, 50Hz or 60Hz)
The hydraulic vulcanizing press is suitable for splicing and repairing EP conveyor belts, nylon belts, cotton canvas belts, and conveyor belts with steel cable cores. It is widely used in mining, metallurgy, ore terminals, grain terminals, building materials, cement, chemical processing, coal-fired power plants, and tunnel construction projects, especially in regions with cold climates, where water-based vulcanizers may not function reliably.
- The vulcanizing plates are equipped with integrated air-cooling functionality to speed up the cooling process after vulcanization.
- Silicone element heating pads are available as an option for enhanced heat distribution and energy efficiency.
- The control panel is securely housed within a protective frame and features digital temperature displays for each pair of vulcanizing plates. It supports both automatic and manual temperature regulation. The automatic control system uses an electronic thermostat with indicator lights, showing the remaining vulcanization time. A signal tone alerts the operator when the vulcanization cycle is complete.
