Hydraulic Press
Hydrostatic press is a machine utilizing liquid as the actuating medium to transfer energy and to realize a specific process. Apart from plate forging, hydraulic press is also used for straightening, mounting, briquetting, plate pressing, plate bending, and plate straightening, etc. Chaoli hydrostatic presses are classified into water press and oil press: machines utilizing water fluid as the actuating medium are called water presses and machines adopting oil to be the actuating medium are oil presses. The type of hydrostatic press is commonly indicated by nominal working force (kN) or nominal tonnage (T). Water press is generally used for plate forging due to its large tonnage.
The structure of the hydraulic press shall be more compact with less rolls, bigger roll diameter and larger power (width unchanged) for processing thicker sheet, vise versa. Carrier rolls (pulleys) are arranged outside of the upper and lower working rolls to form a roller group structure. This 4-column hydraulic press is generally consisted of a driving part, a motor and an electric control unit.
