The Bucket Ladder Dredger, also known as the bucket chain dredger, is a highly efficient tool for sand extraction. It operates by using a power unit to drive a reducer, which rotates the corner wheel, moving the chain. The buckets on the chain then scoop up sediment from the waterbed, and the material is processed through a screening system to separate sand and gravel.
With a dredging depth ranging from 4 to 40 meters below the water’s surface, this dredger can simultaneously excavate and screen sand and medium-sized stones on board. The materials can be transported directly to shore via a remote pump through pipelines or loaded onto transport vessels for further delivery to distant docks.
