Silver-based brazing filler metal is currently the longest and most widely used brazing filler metal in solders. It features suitable melting point, good electrical conductivity, high strength and plasticity, good processing performance, corrosion resistance, etc.
Ag72Cu28 is widely used as a filler material for the brazing of electric vacuum devices. It is used for brazing low-carbon steel, stainless steel, high-temperature alloys, molybdenum, nickel, copper and their alloys, Kovar and refractory alloys.
