YIHUA 948DQ series version I II III fume extractor is designed with digit display, and can be integrated with soldering iron to meet soldering and fume extraction needs.

1. Double Filtration: This fume extractor is fitted with activated carbon filters to provide better adsorption, further reducing the toxic content inside the fume.

2. The smoke extractor effectively extracts and purifies the fumes generated from soldering, wood burning, stained glass making, and more, which ensures a safe work environment, protecting you from harmful fumes.

3. The 9mm thick high quality activated carbon filter can effectively filter the harmful particles and odor from the fume.

4. The 5 blade fan design provides effective suction, and the fan has a longer operating lifespan while putting out less noise when operating.

5. The fume directing fender design redirects the fume to the extraction fan, amplifying the effective fume extraction area. Recommended effective distance: 10cm from the fume extractor (effective distance measured directly from the front).

6. Compact Size: While retaining the functionality, size, and look of the fume extractor, we integrated a soldering station. You can reap the benefit of using both tools together, while saving precious desk space.The 948DQ-II and 948DQ-III combines fume extractor and high-performance temperature-controlled soldering station without compromising the compact size of a fume extractor, satisfying the requirement for fume extraction, filtering, and a wide range of soldering applications.

7. The 948DQ-II uses 917GC(220V) / 917GD(110V) soldering iron handpiece. It uses the YIHUA 60W ceramic heating element. This handpiece comes with built-in thermocouple and PID temperature stabilization micro-controller to provide reliable performance.

8. The 948DQ-III uses K917C(220V) / K917D(110V) soldering iron handpiece. It uses the YIHUA 110W ceramic heating element. This handpiece comes with built in thermocouple and PID temperature stabilization micro controller to provide reliable performance.

9. Precision PID Program
The built in precision PID temperature stabilization monitors the soldering iron’s temperature in real time, cycling in milliseconds to compensate/cool the soldering iron. This ensures the soldering iron tip’s temperature is maintained at the set temperature steadily, offering a smoother soldering experience.

10. Individual Power Switches
The 948DQ-II and 948DQ-III unit integrates two individual power switches, made for the soldering station and fume extractor respectively. You can use both tools together, or only one of them based on your work scope.

11. Detachable Soldering Iron Handpiece (YIHUA 948DQ-II and 948DQ-III)
Detachable soldering iron frees you from soldering the heating element and disassembling the station when replacing consumable parts. With the detachable design, replacing the soldering iron handpiece is easy breezy.

12. Sleep Mode (10-Min) (YIHUA 948DQ-II and 948DQ-III)When non use for longer than 10 minutes, the soldering iron enters low temperature idling sleep mode. This function reduces unnecessary wear, extends the lifespan of the heating element and soldering iron tip. (This function can be turned off.)

13. Automatic Shut-Down(30-Min) (YIHUA 948DQ-II and 948DQ-III)
When the soldering station is not restarted from sleep mode for longer than 30 minutes, the soldering station shuts down automatically. This function prevents leaving the station ON unsupervised, or forgetting to turn OFF the station.

14. Digital Temperature Calibration (YIHUA 948DQ-II and 948DQ-III)
Once inside the temperature calibration interface, simply enter the measured temperature value, and the soldering station will automatically correct the actual temperature discrepancy without calculation.

15. Solder Wire Dispenser (YIHUA 948DQ-II)
You can store your preferred spools of solder wire, and access them easily when soldering. This dispenser is secured via locking screw, and the soldering station comes with compatible threaded insert.

16. Integrated Soldering Iron Holder (YIHUA 948DQ-II)
The holder comes in a spring holster design, with brass wool tip cleaner. Secured with a locking screw, you can adjust to your preferred tilt angle, and the holder is not easily toppled.

17. X-2 Storage System (YIHUA 948DQ-III)
As compared to the flimsy soldering iron stands, the X2 holder system provides a stable holster for the soldering iron, while integrating all the essential cleaning tools you need in ONE. We integrated the iron holder, cleaning kit, protective residual tray, soldering tips temporary storage slots, and solder wire dispenser into one stable holder to help clean up your workspace and improve the safety factor.

18. Tip Cleaner (YIHUA 948DQ-II and 948DQ-III)
Inside the holder, an open-top brass wool tip cleaner is included. You don’t need to purchase separated tip cleaner. Cleaning with brass wool can reduce heat loss during cleaning.
