The mobile harbour crane, also referred to as port crane comes with a rubber tired chassis. It provides exceptional mobility and compact design, ready for use at every accessible point in ports. The mobile luffing jib crane adopts AC drive instead of mechanical, hydraulic and DC drive. It has found wide applications in ports, stations, storage yards, mines, construction sites and other places for material hoisting and transporting. Also, it can serve as an excellent alternative of container handling crane and offer great performance for handling 20 in and 40 in containers.
Features of the Mobile Harbour Crane
1. Superior starting performance;
2. Using PLC to control AC inverter, the container crane can realize controllable soft starting and continuously variable speed regulation;
3. Stable running and zero speed braking for each mechanism;
4. Control of current from Ampere to Milliampere, main circuit contact-less control, system monitoring, fault display and warning;
5. The wharf crane for container handling is designed with power supply conversion interface through which it can be connected to an AC power supply, saving oil resource and greatly reducing cost of operation.
