Overview of the Rust Preventive Oil
True to its name, the water based VCI liquid uses water as solvent which is then mixed with contact-type corrosion inhibitors, vapor-phase corrosion inhibitors, and liquid impregnating agents. Made with unique processing techniques, the rust preventive oil is an evenly-blended, brownish-looking solution.

Model SF/H-177N VCI oil is typically used to replace ordinary rust preventative oil or grease for long-term rust protection. Once dried, the rust preventive oil would form a clear, firm film on the surface being coated. Transparent rust preventative coating is especially suitable for rust proofing applications that do not allow the use of oil or grease. Usually sold in the form of concentrated solution, CVCI anti-rust oil is easy to transport and store. Based on specific rust protection requirements, the rust preventive oil can be diluted with water, all the while maintaining its brown appearance.

Water-based VCI liquid provides an ideal corrosion prevention solution for steel and cast iron, though the anti rust liquid also works well on copper and copper alloy. Vapor-phase corrosion inhibitor has the ability to fog into hard-to-reach spaces in intricately machined or unpainted metal parts. Pairing with our VCI paper or VCI film, this rust preventive oil can provide reliable rust protection that lasts up to 2 years.

Features of the Rust Preventive Oil for Ferrous Metals

Method of Use
Apply the rust preventive oil by dip, flow coat, or spray.
Short-term 1-3 months 5% concentrated solution
Mid-term 6-12 months 10% concentrated solution
Long-term 18-24 months 20% concentrated solution

Please use deionized water to dilute the concentrate. Or as an acceptable alternative, use tap water.

Packaging, Storage
1. Packaging: 25kg/pail, 50kg/pail, or custom packaging
2. Storage: Keep the rust preventive oil cool, dry, out of direct sun light, tightly sealed, and away from rain and frost.
