Description
The FP74E pressure differential control is most often used in water systems of central conditioners. It is used to control the pressure difference between the water supply pipe and the return pipe.

The floating point differential pressure switch is equipped with a single pole, double throw floating point contact. The movement of the floating point will connect the contact plate to open or close the operating valve of the motor drive.

One of the most common applications is to mount the valve on the by-pass line near the system's water pump. When the pressure difference between the system's feeding and return pipes is greater than the set value of the controller, the valve turns up and more water will flow through the by-pass valve, reducing the pressure difference between the feeding and return pipes. On the flip side, if the pressure difference is less than that of the set value, the pressure valve will allow for an increase in pressure between the two pipes of the water system.
