Oil Differential Pressure Control

Description
The FSD series of differential pressure controls (oil pressure controls) protect refrigeration compressors and other machines. Refrigeration and lubrication systems both require a particular oil pressure in order to lubricate every component. If the pressure is too low, compressors will begin to stick (cylinder sticking) and lose oil during normal or start-up operations, and eventually ruin the bearing pad on the compressor.
The differential pressure switch receives the discharge pressure signal from the lubricating oil pump and suction pressure from the compressor. It maintains the two pressures within a specific range, and when the difference is lower than the set range, the switch automatically cuts the compressor circuit in order to stop operating.
