High Shear Granulator / Wet Granulator
Principle
The GHL wet granulator is a high shear granulator that stirs powdered raw material with a binder in the granulating machine's barrel until it is wet and soft. Then the wet granules are cut uniformly using a cutting blade.
Features of the GHL Wet Granulator
1. The high shear granulator uses a horizontal barrel or cone structure.
2. The inner surface of the high shear mixer has no dead corners. It works in a sealed state and conforms to GMP requirements.
3. Features short granulating time, high efficiency and energy saving.
4. With granules of good uniformity and fluidization, the wet granulation equipment provides ideal granules for a tablet pressing procedure.
5. Compared with traditional processes, the squeezing granulator needs 25% less of the binder material and has a shorter drying time too.
6. Each batch needs 2 minutes to mix dry material and 1 to 4 minutes to granulate, which is 4-5 times more efficient than other wet granulators.
