As a professional company providing stainless steel manufacturing services, RITAI is capable of offering high quality stainless steel fermenters tailored to different industries like pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetics, food, beverage, and chemical. In addition to stainless steel microbial fermenters, we also provide modular process system solutions to meet your specific needs.

A fermentation system is a system primarily composed of fermentation tanks, also known as seed tanks or crystallization tanks. It is widely used in pharmaceutical plants, fine chemical processing plants, biopharmaceutical companies, etc. These tanks are designed with a jacket and insulation layer to facilitate heating, cooling, and insulation. Both the tank body and upper and lower heads (or cones) undergo processing with spun R-angle, while the inner tank wall is treated with mirror polishing to achieve a surface roughness of Ra≤0.4μm, ensuring no dead corners and thus enabling materials to be mixed and fermented in a pollution-free environment. Furthermore, the equipment is furnished with air breathers, cleaning balls, sanitary manholes, sight glasses, sight lights, and other essential devices.

The fermentation process for pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, and biological products is a sterile and pollution-free process. We have specially designed and installed sterile air vents or sterile positive pressure fermentation systems on the fermenters. Heating or cooling media can be circulated for heating and cooling. The parts in contact with the materials are all made of stainless steel SUS304 or SUS316L, and the insulation is made of environmentally friendly polyurethane foam, with the outer surface treated with a matte finish, meeting GMP standards.

RITAI microbial fermentation system can achieve fully automatic batch, fed-batch, or continuous high-density cultivation of aerobic or anaerobic bacteria, yeast, and molds, providing an appropriate growth environment from research to production processes, fully meeting the needs of small-scale research to large-scale production processes.

Stainless steel fermenters are equipment used in biological processes and are typically closed stainless steel fermentation tanks. Our company has over ten years of experience in the production of stainless steel tanks & pressure vessels and has a wealth of technical expertise and quality management experience, including:

  • Advanced stainless steel sheet processing technology
  • Advanced stainless steel welding technology
  • Advanced electrolytic polishing technology
  • Experienced mechanical polishing technology
  • These technologies and experiences enable us to produce sanitary-grade stainless steel tanks & pressure vessels that meet world-class standards.

RITAI stainless steel fermenters come in three types of fermentation tanks: 5L-15L stainless steel tanks, 20L~400L stainless steel tanks, and 500L~50000L stainless steel tanks. The different sizes and capacities make them suitable for a wide range of applications, such as laboratory-scale fermentation systems, fermentation in the pharmaceutical industry, beer making fermentation systems, etc.

Our stainless steel fermenters are designed and manufactured according to standards and specifications such as GB, ASME, PED, etc., to meet the needs of various biomanufacturing companies.

Yes, our stainless steel fermenters are very easy to use. Additionally, the interior polish level of our stainless steel tanks and pressure vessels reaches Ra ≤ 0.4μm, which means that no biofilm or fragments will adhere to the interior of the fermenters, ensuring that your bioprocessing system remains clean and sterile at all times.

For customers requiring large-scale productions, we can offer fully customized solutions. With mature bioprocessing equipment technology and validation testing project requirements, we can assist in manufacturing a bioprocessing system that exceeds your expectations, from initial concept to the final system.

We have acquired the Chinese Special Equipment Manufacturing License for the manufacture of Class I and II pressure vessels. Additionally, we hold the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) "U" stamp for compliance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Our pressure vessels have also obtained the NB Certificate.
