Four-Shaft Tyre Shredder
Four-shaft tyre shredder utilizes a disc screen and is suitable for both large and small tyres. With its original blade strength maintained, this tyre shredding machine can achieve a production capacity of up to 6 tons of waste tyres per hour. The primary function of this equipment is to shred the tyres, after the separation of beads wire by the tyre debeader, into rubber chips in size of 50mm×50mm. The blade edge is made of high-strength special tungsten alloy steel, effectively extending the equipment's lifespan.

Material of Blade Edge | High strength tungsten steel |
Four-shaft tyre shredder is suitable for crushing large and hard tyres such as truck tyres and car tyres.
- The main shaft of the crusher is processed with 42CrMo and undergoes overall quenching, ensuring high strength and stable operation under uniform stress.
- The double-tooth rolling continuous feeding mechanism effectively improves the equipment capacity, extend equipment lifespan, and enhance tyre crushing and screening efficiency.
- The automatic opening and closing pressure adjustment mechanism effectively controls the smooth and continuous feeding of tyres, avoiding equipment idling and jamming.
- The blades come with significantly improved wear resistance and hardness. The surface hardness is above 60HRC, and the impact toughness reaches the world's advanced level. The initial grinding capacity has increased from 3000 tons to 5000 tons.
- The equipment adopts circulating oil lubrication, which can dissipate the heat generated by the bearings at any time, effectively extending the service life of the bearings and enabling continuous operation for 24 hours.
What material are the blades used to shred tyres made of?
The blades are made of high-strength special tungsten alloy steel, which offers greatly improved wear resistance and hardness. The surface hardness of the blades is above 60HRC, and the impact toughness reaches the world's advanced level. The initial grinding capacity has increased from the original 3000 tons to 5000 tons.
How to ensure smooth operation of the tyre shredding process?
The tyre shredding equipment adopts circulating oil lubrication, which can dissipate the heat generated by the bearings at any time, effectively extending the service life of the bearings and enabling 24-h continuous operation.
What is the purpose of tyre shredding?
To separate steel and textile from rubber, and reduce the size of the rubber chips to a fixed particle diameter.
