Integration of deuterium and tungsten halogen lamps

By integrating both the deuterium lamp and halogen tungsten lamp into a single chamber, our composite light source allows for simultaneous or separate ignition. This design enables the generation of continuous light across a wide spectrum ranging from 200nm to 2500nm. Specifically tailored for transmission, reflection, and absorption measurements, it ensures versatility and precision in your spectroscopic analyses.

7ILC1051, 7ILC2801 The Back-Illuminated Composite Light Source - 7ILC1051/7ILC2801

The back-illuminated composite light source combines a 30W deuterium lamp with either a 75W or 250W back-illuminated halogen tungsten lamp. Initially, the halogen tungsten lamp's image is projected onto the filament of the deuterium lamp, and then both images are overlapped at the light exit port. This unique design ensures that the output spectra of both lamps overlap seamlessly, offering independent stability for each source without the need for any conversion during use. With the addition of the tungsten halogen lamps, the energy output of UV spectra, particularly around 360nm, is significantly enhanced compared to using either lamp individually

7ILC1052A Automatic Composite Light Source

The 7ILC1052A automatic composite light source features a 30W deuterium lamp and a 75W halogen tungsten lamp. Equipped with a USB interface control module, this light source seamlessly switches between the deuterium lamp and tungsten lamp via software, enabling continuous light output across a wide spectral range. Additionally, it supports integration of 7IFW6/7IFW6A filter wheels and an SR540 chopper. Compatible with 7ISW and 7ISU series spectrometers, it facilitates automatic light source conversion for enhanced versatility.
