Aluminum metallized PI film is a high-performance, heat-resistant polyimide film. One side is insulating, the other is conductive. PI plastic is one of the most thermal-insulated engineering plastics, capable of withstanding high temperatures, excellent mechanical properties, fatigue resistance, flame retardant, dimensional stability, good electrical properties, low molding shrinkage, resistance to oil, common acids, and organic solvents, but not alkalis, and offers excellent friction and wear resistance.
Features
- Halogen-free flame retardant (no halogens and antimony)
- Flame retardant
- Thermal insulation
- Strong adhesion: acrylic adhesive
- Acrylic-based adhesive
- No siloxane gas
Applications
- Ideal for thin, thermal-insulated parts requiring fixation and electrical insulation
- Used in applications such as TAB bonding (tape automated bonding) and heat-resistant films
- Flame retardant material
- Thermal conductive material
- Data transmission cable
- EMI shielding
