Dosing & Mixing

Our dosing and mixing equipment is designed to meet various plastic processing needs, incorporating volumetric, gravimetric, and loss-in-weight technologies for precise material blending. This advanced system supports the automatic proportional mixing of new materials, regrind, masterbatch, and additives. Simply load different materials into the respective hoppers, input the desired mixing ratios, and the system will handle the rest, ensuring accurate and efficient blending.

This technology enhances productivity and consistency in manufacturing, making it ideal for a wide range of applications in the plastic processing industry. Additionally, the integration of automated processes reduces manual intervention, minimizes errors, and improves overall production efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Selecting the right SGB gravimetric blender depends on the types of plastic being processed, the hourly processing volume, and the mixing ratios of various materials. The maximum processing capacity of the gravimetric blender is calculated based on a bulk density of 0.8 kg/L. For mixing ratios between 0.5% and 5%, screw or micro-dosing valves are appropriate.

To select the SCM volumetric masterbatch doser, calculate the theoretical hourly output of the color masterbatch:

  • Theoretical Output (kg/hr) = Molding Machine Output (kg/hr) × Color Masterbatch Ratio Then, determine the actual output:
  • Actual Output (kg/hr) = (Theoretical Output (kg/hr) / Material Bulk Density) × 1.2 Based on these calculations, choose the appropriate SCM model volumetric doser. Consider the bulk density and pellet size of the color masterbatch to ensure maximum processing capacity and control accuracy.

The SPV-U proportional valve can operate in four different modes to achieve multi-layer material suction. However, each mode has specific minimum suction time requirements. The SAL-1HP-UG loader alone does not support multi-layer suction and requires the SPV-U control box to enable this functionality.

For these mixing ratios, the SGB-600-4-2R gravimetric blender with two sets of micro-dosing screw feeders is recommended, provided the materials used are in granular form.
