Environmental simulation chamber for tests requiring quick changes of temperature
With our rapid-rate thermal cycle test chambers, it’s possible to create fast and precise temperature transitions that help assess how products handle sudden shifts in climate. The combination of efficient cooling technology and responsive controls supports testing routines that demand both speed and accuracy.
Standard Configuration
- Two cable ports (Ø100 mm), one on each side, supplied with grey soft rubber plugs and covers
- Hour meter
- 1 observation window(insulating glass with transparent heating film)
- 2 sets of specimen racks
- 1 sample power control terminal
1 RS-485 communication port
1 RJ-45 Ethernet port - USB port
Features
- Supports rapid temperature shifts, achieving cooling rates up to 15 °C per minute with mechanical refrigeration alone. When combined with liquid nitrogen assistance, cooling speeds can reach 30 °C per minute
- Provides precise control, maintaining temperature fluctuation within ±0.5 °C and deviation better than ±1.5 °C throughout the test cycle
Common Test Applications
- Sustained high-temperature exposure
- Low-temperature performance evaluation
- Repeated cycling between hot and cold conditions
- Constant temperature and humidity checks
- Combined climate simulations
- Environmental stress screening

The listed performance data for air-cooled units are measured under ambient conditions of 25 °C and relative humidity not exceeding ≤85%, with the chamber empty and no ventilation applied. For water-cooled units, performance is specified within an ambient temperature range of 15 °C to 35 °C, relative humidity up to ≤85%, and cooling water temperature at or below ≤ 28℃, also measured with no test samples inside the chamber.
What is a rapid-rate thermal cycle test chamber?
What is a rapid-rate thermal cycle test chamber?
This type of chamber creates controlled conditions where temperature and humidity can change quickly. It helps evaluate how products respond to rapid shifts in climate by simulating environmental stress similar to what they may experience in real-world use. These tests can accelerate failure modes and reveal hidden weaknesses early in development.
Which industries typically use rapid thermal cycling chambers?
Which industries typically use rapid thermal cycling chambers?
They are widely used in sectors such as electronics, automotive, aerospace, and advanced materials. Testing under extreme or rapidly changing temperatures helps assess product reliability, durability, and adaptability. The results can guide design improvements, production decisions, and quality assurance processes.
What temperature change rates are available for the rapid thermal cycling chambers?
What temperature change rates are available for the rapid thermal cycling chambers?
Common configurations support rates of 2 °C/min, 5 °C/min, 10 °C/min, and 15 °C/min. If you require faster transitions, customized solutions can be developed to meet specific testing requirements.
