TSG Series Three-Zone Thermal Shock Test Chamber
Environmental chamber with hot, ambient and cold zones for product reliability testing by rapidly transferring extreme temperature changes
A three-zone thermal shock chamber uses separate hot, ambient, and cold sections to expose products to extreme temperature changes in seconds. Unlike designs where samples move between chambers, this thermal shock test system keeps the product fixed in place while air flows switch automatically, reducing vibration and ensuring more accurate measurements. The chamber can operate in both two-zone and three-zone modes, depending on the test requirements.

- The chamber uses a three-zone fixed design with pneumatic dampers that automatically switch airflow. This setup supports both two-zone and three-zone testing modes, depending on the required protocol.
- Samples remain in a single position throughout the test cycle. By avoiding movement, the thermal shock test system reduces vibration and interference, resulting in more consistent and reliable data.
- A large front door with pneumatic opening and closing makes it safer and easier to load or remove test items.

Performance data for air-cooled models are based on an ambient temperature of 25 °C and relative humidity up to 85%, measured with the chamber empty. For water-cooled models, performance is specified with ambient temperature between 15 °C and 35 °C, relative humidity ≤85%, and cooling water temperature ≤ 28 °C, also measured without any samples inside.
Test samples are plastic-encapsulated ICs evenly distributed in two sample baskets. For details about temperature recovery conditions, please contact your sales representative.
