JDSU MTS-2000 Optical Time Domain Reflectometer
The JDSU MTS-2000 optical time domain reflectometer, often abbreviated as MTS-2000 OTDR, is a handheld modular test set for the installation, turn-up and maintenance of optical fibers across Enterprise, Metro and FTTx networks, and it exhibits many outstanding properties as illustrated below.
Feature
1. Our fiber optic multi-test tool uses a 5-inch touch screen to combine operation and data display together, and it can be outfitted with optional built-in devices, such as optical power meter, VFL (visual fault locator) and optical talk set.
2. This field optical reflectometer allows field installation of many OTDR modules including Quad and PON, and it automatically finishes fiber inspection, IL/ORL test, CWDM analysis, PON power metering and IEC pass/fail analysis.
3. Thanks to the new-generation lithium polymer (LiPo) battery, our optical time domain reflectometer is able to work continuously for as long as 8 hours.
4. This handheld OTDR offers boosted productivity with seamless data flow because it allows data transmission via Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth and WiFi. In addition, a hands-free bag is supplied as standard configuration.
