Foil-Fiberglass Facing, Radiant & Vapor Barrier
FGV1808 foil fiberglass facing is constructed using 18 microns thick aluminum foil and 95gsm fiberglass cloth reinforcement. The two components are bonded together using fire retardant adhesive. Additionally, a layer of 40 microns thick PE coating is coated on the back side of glass cloth. The high quality materials and adhesive provides the facing material with good abrasion resistance, and high tensile strength up to 255N/25mm in machine direction and 178N/25mm in cross direction. The product is commonly used as vapor barrier material for duct wrapping and insulation.
