The column type gangway is designed and manufactured in full consideration of ship movements caused by tidal and drift, and can cover different ship levels from small barges to large carriers of up to 30,000 tons.

Features

Suitable for ships of less than 30,000 tons;
The structure is featured by good corrosion resistance, high strength, light weight and superior look;
The control system adopts programmable logic controller (PLC) to ensure easy operation and reliable performance;
Bulwark ladder is connected to the slewing platform using an articulated connection;
The gangway movements are raised and lowered by hydraulic cylinder, ensuring smooth and safe movements;
The ladder cylinder is fitted with valve to avoid uncontrolled pressure lowering when pipe failure occurs;
The slewing mechanism utilizes hydraulic motor and reducer to control slewing bearing, thus achieving ±90° slewing range; when the slewing angle reaches the determined value, alarm will be activated to inform operator for locking;
The column is constructed with high grade steel plate through plate rolling and welding processes, providing strong wind resistance;
Regardless of the angle of the ladder, the steps always remain horizontal;
