Wedge Sockets (Wire Rope Fast Connector)
Wedge sockets are used in hoisting machinery for fixing, fastening, and connecting rope ends with a simple structure, easy use, and a safe, reliable operation. Wedge sockets are generally cast or welded and comprised of 3 parts: the wedge cover, the core, and the lateral pin. The surface is smooth with no sharp edges or dead heads. Any defects that will affect the strength or appearance should not appear, including pores, cracks, slag, sand, casting and scars. The wedge joints all undergo a rustproof treatment.
