DTH Pipes
DTH pipes are drill pipes or drill strings made of premium-grade steel pipes. The DTH drill pipe has a pipe joint at one end. The joint is made from 42CrMo alloy steel and welded onto the DTH pipe via a process called friction welding for excellent weld strength.
The use of high-precision machine tool as well as other advanced manufacturing equipment ensures the dimensions accuracy of the threaded drill rod. Vacuum tempering gives the drill string added rotary torque and extended service life.
Popular uses for our DTH pipes are in the metallurgy, coal mining, building material, and non-ferrous mining industries for drilling and blasting applications. These drill pipes are also found in hydropower, civil engineering, transportation and other earthwork excavation projects.
