Battery grade cobalt tetroxide, also referred to as cobalt oxide, typically presents as a loose powder with moderate flowability. The drying process must ensure low energy consumption, even heat distribution, and a stable operating environment to meet quality standards in a single pass. For battery applications, magnetic contamination must be strictly controlled, with acceptable levels typically kept below 20 ppb.

- Designed for continuous operation, the drying system maintains thermal efficiency above 85%, making it suitable for high-volume, stable production.
- Dust collection is highly efficient, with more than 99.9% of fine particles recoverable. This helps maintain product yield and supports a clean, well-contained work environment.
- Each tray can operate at an independent temperature, allowing upper sections to dry and lower sections to cool. This layout provides better control over the drying curve and final product temperature.
- Compatible with different heat sources, including steam and thermal oil. Heating can be powered by electricity, natural gas, coal, or gas, depending on site conditions.
- An internal crushing mechanism breaks down small wet clumps into fine powder during operation. This improves heat transfer and ensures a more even, consistent drying result.
