The DW belt dryer is a multilayer dryer which usually has two to five belt layers in which the raw material is fed from the top belt, circulating layer by layer through the walnut dryer until the dried products are finally discharged from the bottom belt layer.
A multilayer fruit dryer saves on space, equipment investment and energy consumption. In addition, raw material can be turned over when moved from layer to layer, making for a more uniform drying effect.
The DW belt dryer can be used for drying material with high moisture content that is sensitive to high temperatures, such as fruits and walnuts.
