Slitting Metal Spacer
Application
The slitting metal spacer is mainly used on slitting cutter shaft to maintain certain width between circular blades, as well as to control the horizontal adjustment spacing between top and bottom blades. The precision of the slitting metal spacer is crucial for the quality of slitting products.
The thickness tolerance of spacer Seton produced can reach within 0.001mm.
Material introduction- The spacer produced by Seton is generally made from 65Mn, GCr15, 9CrSi, after forging the heat treatment quenching hardness are HRC50-55, 56-59, 59-61 respectively.
- High hardness guarantees the spacer surface will not appear defects due to collision during use affecting the precision of the spacer.

- Special rust prevention treatment is applied to the spacer to ensure it does not rust under normal use.
- The surface of the spacer is made by special grinding technology, and after stringent quality testing, all finished products are guaranteed with a flatness of within 0.003mm, thus its precision is well guaranteed.
Custom made
The commonly used spacer rings' width is 0.8mm-150mm. Seton can customize the outer diameter and thickness of the spacer according to the shaft diameter of customers' machines and the slitting material width. Based on the material customers chose, advanced heat treatment and processing grinding process are adopted to ensure the spacer's high hardness and high precision, thus solving spacer's common problems such as low hardness and low precision.
