Woodworking Paint Booth
Industrial spray booths for wood cabinets and furniture finishing
Woodworking paint booths are commonly used in furniture shops and cabinet workshops where wood pieces need a clean, steady workspace for spraying. The booth helps keep dust away from freshly coated surfaces and gives operators enough room to move around doors, drawers, panels and other items without disturbing the finish. Lighting inside the booth is arranged to brighten the whole work area, especially the spots where wood grain, edges and panel joints are checked. This helps operators see how the varnish or color coat is settling on each piece.
Some workshops add a drying section when they need coatings to cure faster. The air in these drying rooms can be heated with gas, diesel, electricity or steam, depending on the setup of the shop. This helps speed up production while keeping the finish smooth and consistent across different types of wood.
Different woodworking paint booth models use different airflow patterns, and the choice usually depends on budget, workshop layout or the operator’s preference.
Cross Draft Booth
Fresh air enters through the filter at the front of the booth and then moves straight toward the exhaust unit at the back. The airflow runs directly from the front to the back, which makes this one of the simplest booth designs. It’s a practical option for smaller workshops that can’t spare much room for a larger setup.
Side Downdraft Booth
Fresh air enters from the front of the booth and moves downward toward exhaust points on the rear wall or the side panels. With the airflow moving this way, overspray is pulled away more effectively and the coating lands more evenly on the wood.
YNZ Interior Co., Ltd. from Thailand purchased a YS-PB4 furniture paint booth for their furniture finishing projects. We arranged a technician to handle the paid installation, and the booth was fully set up in just three days. The customer told us they were happy with both the equipment and how smoothly the installation went.
