GYFTY Outdoor Fiber Optic Cable
Description
The GYFTY outdoor fiber optic cable can provide different fiber counts which range from 2 core to 36 cores. The diameter of the fiber optic is 250μm and the dynamic bending radius of fiber optic is 20 times that of the cable's outer diameter. The attenuation of this fiber optic cable is 1.0dB while its bandwidth is 1000MHz.km. It is used as outdoor aerial cable and is applied in pipelines and direct burying.
Standard
The structure of GYFTY outdoor fiber optic cable is to combine the ribbon fiber optic whose radius is 250μm inside the loose tube which is made of high modulus materials. The loose tube is filled with a waterproof compound. In the center of the cable core is a FRP and the loose tube which strand the central strength member to form a compact and round cable core. The waterproof fillers fill up the gap inside the cable core. Outside the cable core is a PVC sheath which, together with other parts, forms up the optical fiber cable.

application: self-supporting aerial laying |
- Loose tube cable structure has great compressive resistance and softness.
- GYFTY outdoor fiber optic cable has great mechanical behavior.
- The material of the loose tube has great hydrolysis resistance and higher strength.
- A special grease fills up the loose tube to provide the fiber optic with critical protection.
Adopt the following measures to ensure the waterproof performance of the optical cables
- Using the single steel wire as central strength member.
- Filling up the loose tube with special waterproof compound.
- Using double sided PSP to improve the moisture resistance of the optical cables.
