Metallized Polypropylene Film Capacitor, CBB61 Series
The CBB61 series metallized polypropylene film capacitor uses a polypropylene film and a protective film with grid background as the dielectric which are metallized with zinc and aluminum on both sides which operate as the electrodes. The entire assembly is then potted in flame-retardant epoxy resin and packed into a square ABS plastic case.
Small, reliable and safe to use, this epoxy-potted film cap has been designed to last long all while delivering excellent electrical performance. Widely used on fans and range hoods.
Uses
CBB61 metallized film capacitors are most often plugged into a 50Hz or 60Hz power supply, and mounted on the outside of a single phase AC motor to aid in the start-up and efficient run of the motor.
Features
1. High capacitance in a lightweight, space-saving package
2. Minimized power loss
3. Excellent self-healing property
4. Rectangular flame-retardant plastic case sealed by fire-resistant epoxy resin for maximum safety in operation
5. Metallized polypropylene film capacitor available in two configurations, explosion proof and non-explosion proof
