Carbon fiber mesh is a grid-type reinforcement fabric woven from high-quality carbon fiber filaments, such as those produced by Toray (Japan). It is designed for use in combination with high-strength spray-applied mortar or cementitious overlays for structural reinforcement applications.

This mesh is ideal for flexural strengthening, axial compression enhancement, seismic retrofitting, and crack control reinforcement. Its non-corrosive nature, light weight, and excellent mechanical properties make it suitable for both interior and exterior structural upgrades in concrete-based systems.

Moisture-tolerant application: Can be applied to damp substrates without standing water; surface pre-wetting is sufficient and no strict humidity control is required
Minimal added thickness: Strengthening typically requires only 1.5–2 cm of mortar, helping reduce the overall thickness of sprayed concrete (e.g., in tunnels, thickness can be reduced by approximately 4 cm)
