The siphon low-temperature brine chillers we offer, use a siphon evaporator, minimizing the amount of refrigerant required while ensuring efficient performance. Equipped with high-performance screw compressors, the unit supports refrigerants such as R717 and R22, with options for R134a, R404a, and R507 based on specific needs. The standard configuration is compatible with secondary refrigerants like ethylene glycol and calcium chloride, while alternative solutions such as methanol, propylene glycol, and sodium chloride can also be used. These chillers are ideal for providing low-temperature process cooling in industries such as chemical manufacturing and food processing.

  • Compared to flooded and dry evaporators, the low-pressure refrigerant entering the siphon evaporator is in a saturated state, eliminating the impact of throttling flash gas and achieving higher heat transfer efficiency.
  • The secondary refrigerant flows through the shell side of the evaporator, which significantly reduces flow resistance along the path.
  • Freon-based systems include an automatic ejector oil return system, ensuring easy operation, reliable performance, and efficient oil management.
  • A liquid-cooled oil cooling system is used to provide effective heat exchange and ensure consistent, stable operation.
  • Automatic models are equipped with PMFL SV liquid level control, enabling continuous, precise adjustments and dependable performance. (Manual models are fitted with a manual throttle valve for control.)
  • The gas-liquid separator, utilizing technology developed by MOON-TECH, ensures a stable refrigerant supply and efficient separation of gas and liquid to maintain operational consistency.
