Spray Dryer Granulator
Application
Pharmaceutical industry: tablets, capsule granules
Foodstuff: cocoa, coffee, milk powder, juice of granule, flavoring
Other industries: pesticides, feed, chemical fertilizer, pigment, dyestuff
Features
1. The spray dryer granulator features simultaneous spraying, drying/fluid granulating within its chamber.
2. The spraying process makes the granulating machine suitable for micro auxiliary raw materials and thermally sensitive raw materials.
3. The moisture of final products can reach as low as 0.1%. The granulator is equipped with a powder recovery device.
4. The rate of granulate formation is more than 95%, 0.2-2 mm size granules.
5. The improved inner roller multi-flow atomizing design can handle liquid extract with 1.3/cm3 of gravity.
Principle of work
Powder material is fed into the fluidized bed as crystal seeds. Liquid raw material is pumped into the atomizer. Most moisture is evaporated when the atomized material comes in contact with the heated air. The resididual moisture is removed at the bottom of the fluidized bed at a lower temperature. This leads to an automatic granulating effect.
