Threaded pipe flange is threaded in the bore which matches an external thread on the pipe. It is easy to be installed and maintained, and can be applied in some pipelines where welding treatment is not allowed. For pipelines where there is a rapid temperature change or the temperature is lower than -45℃ or higher than 260℃, threaded flange is not suggested in case of leakage. To ensure a high pressure rating, screwed flanges are generally fabricated from die stamping and machining techniques instead of welding or casting.
