Three Channel Optical Encoder
Introduction
Optical encoder is a high-precision digital transducer which detects the speed, angle and location of object. Fixed on the motor shaft, the granting encoder can receive the light released by LED and transform the brightness into electronic impulse, which lately amplified and processed by its controller. Accounting on the influence of gear clearance and driving belt, the optical encoder line number for DC motor, stepper motor shall be no more than 500.
There are two-channel optical encoder and three-channel optical encoder. For three-channel optical encoder, an incremental encoder, it can output three square-wave pulses, which are phase A, phase B and phase Z.
Application
GBM three-channel optical encoder can be fixed in the foot section of servo motor, DC motor and stepper motor.
