In order to optimize the success of treatment using electroporation, we recommend the previous use of microdermabrasion exfoliation with diamond tips or another method in order to remove stratum corneum and promote the absorbance of substances. Using this method, the permeability of the plasma membrane is altered, leading to the opening of intracellular channels, enabling the introduction of electroporated materials. By applying an alternating current, the cells are moved through the outer layer of the skin, generating an opening and modification of spaces through which the diffusion is carried out. Electroporation leads to a complete revamp of skin cells through an alternating current. The rearrangement of skin cells is continuous, and will generate new pores and channels while the power is active.
