Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitor, CD60 Series
Request a Quote
, CD60 Series
Housed in a tubular case made of metal, PF resin, or engineering plastics, the CD60 series aluminum electrolytic capacitor uses pure aluminum foil as anode, covered with a barrier layer of aluminum oxide which acts as a dielectric. The electrolyte, or cathode, is non-solid. Two welded metal tabs, cables or wires stick out from the case as leads. The non-solid capacitor or e-cap is widely used as a motor capacitor in single phase AC motors running off of 50-60Hz and 110v-330v power. It gives the motor a high starting torque when the motor tries to start up at a low current.
