NJP series automatic capsule filling machine is an intermittent motion encapsulator that doses and fills powder or other solids at multiple tamping stations. It can complete the entire capsule filling process automatically, including empty capsule feeding, separating, drug filling, capsule closing, defective capsule rejecting and finished capsule discharging.

This series automatic capsule fillers can fill three different types of drugs, therefore allowing pharmaceutical and supplement manufacturers to fill sustained-release dosage forms, controlled-release dosage forms and tablets in a single capsule, which is made as per GMP standard.

  • Sealing plate is placed at the bottom of the dosing disc, helping eliminate powder leakage and the damage to the surface of the dosing disc; and baffle plates are provided surrounding the dosing disc to efficiently recycle and reuse the waste powder generated during the operation, while reducing the dust on working table;
  • Cam with larger size is adopted to accommodate operating pressure required for manufacturing various medicines, and the work surface of the cam is subjected to PIP nitriding treatment to enhance the surface hardness, thus providing long service life and reliable operation performance;
  • Tamping pins can be manually adjusted via a fine-adjusting mechanism, allowing for easy dismantling and cleaning; the bottom plate is made of imported aviation aluminum and treated by passivation to offer anti-static and non-stick properties, as well as easy to clean;
  • Powder scraper is utilized for scraping off excess powder, enhancing dose consistency and ensuring the filling accuracy at each tamping station;
  • The human-machine interface adopts Siemens HMI software, achieving automatic monitoring, failure diagnosis, alarming and machine stopping to allow the operator to solve issues like shortage of powder or empty capsules;
  • All electrical components are from world's renowned brands such as Siemens and Omron to ensure the reliable operation of the capsule filling machine;

Machine Details
  • The holes are misaligned to improve the capsule filling rate and filling accuracy.

  • The baffle plate of the locking station moves up and down to prevent the capsule cap from being scratched. It is also equipped with a vacuum suction device, which can collect the excess powder spilled out during the capsule locking process.

  • The capsule filling machine is equipped with a device for cleaning the residual powder in the mold hole by means of a compressed air jet in a highly efficient manner.

  • The filling mechanism is supported with two axes on each side, which makes the filling force uniform and balanced. This can also reduce the wear of the machine parts, and improves the filling accuracy.

  • The capsule filling machine features a wide conveyor chain with compact structure, which reduces vibration and causes nearly no teeth skipping. In addition, chain stretching can be avoided even after long-term use, greatly improving service life of the equipment.

  • The optional vacuum feeder can be equipped with a vacuum collecting system. This can effectively collect the material spilled under the metering plate into the hopper for refilling, which can reduce waste.
