Capsule filling machines are designed for small to medium-sized pharmaceutical companies, health product manufacturers, and hospital preparation rooms. These semi-automatic machines combine electrical and pneumatic systems, with a stainless steel body and worktable that meet GMP standards. The programmable control system and touch screen interface (V-type) enable variable frequency, stepless speed regulation, and combined pneumatic and electronic automatic counting. The machine efficiently automates capsule dropping, drug filling, and locking with accurate filling doses and easy operation.

  • This machine eliminates the traditional gearbox-driven speed change. Variable frequency and stepless speed adjustment address the weight imbalance issues of conventional machine heads and tails, simplifying maintenance and operation.

Working Principle

This semi-automatic capsule filling machine has three stations. The first station is for capsule orientation, the second for powder filling, and the final for capsule pressing.

  • First Station: Capsule Orientation The first station involves feeding, aligning, and inserting capsules into the holes of the fixed ring.
  • Second Station: Powder Filling The fixed ring is separated, and the lower (body) ring is placed on the turntable. The powder hopper is moved above the lower ring, and the auger inside the hopper begins to fill the capsule bodies with powder.
  • Third Station: Capsule Pressing The upper and lower fixed rings are aligned, then placed in front of the ejector. The ejector is aligned with the holes in the fixed ring. Using a hydraulic cylinder, the ejector presses and closes the capsules. Finally, the filled capsules are ejected through the holes and output through a pipeline.
