CNC Woodworking Router Structure Explained
1. Base
Framework at the base of single-head CNC wood router is constructed of heavy-duty tubular steel, precisely machined by a gantry milling machine and stress relieved by vibration equipment so that the foundation remains firm and steady over the lifetime of CNC wood router.
2. Steel Bar
To further strengthen the solid, level foundation, we put milled thick steel square bar under each linear guide and rack drive.
3. Linear Guide, Rack and Pinion
Quality 25MM square linear guide of single-head CNC wood router delivers high rigidity, vibration/shock resistance and damping characteristics. Precision gear racks are carefully installed and maintained by experienced worker with specialized instrument. This assures smooth motion and long term reliability.
4. Ball Screw
Quality TBI anti-backlash center driven ball screws are 25mm in diameter and provide 0.01mm repositioning accuracy. The combination of ball screw and gear rack offers accuracy and high speed machining.
5. Stepper Motor
Industrial-grade powerful stepper motor delivers exceptional wear resistance and fast machining speed. It offers years of trouble-free use.
6. Electric Cabinet
Housed inside the mobile, double-door electrical enclosure are neatly wired electrical components. The enclosure provides easy access to and servicing of single-head CNC wood router when needed. Every wire is attached with a tag so that when service is required, the customer can easily identity each wire and component.
7. Motor-Driven Spindle
Water-cooled spindle performs powerfully and stably in machining solid wood, MDF, acrylic, aluminum and plastics, etc. Power configurations for the spindle motor include 220V-2Phase-50-60Hz or 220V-3Phase-50-60Hz or 380V, 3Phase-50-60Hz. Series of router tools are available, like 3.175mm, 4mm, 6mm, 8mm and 12.7mm in diameter.
8. CNC Display
Computer numerical control provides a user-friendly interface where operators interact with the single-head CNC wood router via the computer screen. With this computer interface operators are able to achieve high-speed, high-precision motion control. 9. Aluminum Table
Quality aluminum alloy is used to construct the work table which can be installed lengthwise or crosswise.
10. Tool Sensor
The tool sensor makes it easier to zero the Z axis, make single or multiple changes to the tool, and automatically calibrate the tool length. It helps save time and ensures error-free operation.
11. Oil Lubrication
The central lubricator makes it easier to lubricate the guide assembly regularly. Just pull the device gently and oil will go when it is needed.
12. Photoelectric Limit Switch
More sensitive and durable than traditional mechanical switch, maintenance-free for long term use.
13. Foot Pad
The foot pad makes it easier to level the machine accurately.

1. Motor-Driven Spindle
Water cooled or air cooled spindle provides choices of power configurations, made either in China or Italy.
2. Vacuum Table
Multi-zone vacuum table allows the operator to easily switch from full sheet processing to smaller part. Gasket cords can be adjusted to seal the perimeter of work-piece of various sizes and shapes. Aluminum alloy can be used to construct the vacuum fixture.
3. PVC on Aluminum Table
Black 7mm PVC on top of aluminum profile table, protecting the table from cutting or scratching.
4. Servo Motor
AC Panasonic Servo motor for smoother motion and triple working speed, requiring no regular maintenance.
5. Mist Sprayer
The mist sprayer sends oil mist to the surface being machined. It is important for tool cooling and lubrication

7. Manual Pulse Generator Hand Wheel
Anti-jamming and allowing long distance transmission of signal, with a 3m hand wheel cable; Accurate pulse output
