Properties of the PPS Filtration Bag 1. Our filter sock bag has a continuous service temperature of 190°C, a surge temperature of 232°C, a melting point at 285°C and a limiting oxygen index of 34-35.
2. It is applicable to environments with an oxygen content lower than 15%.
3. A high resistance to acid and alkaline contributes to the extensive usage of these filtration bags for air purification of flue gas with sulfide or sulfur oxides.
4. These filter bags are also ideal for humid gas ducts.
5. Under a working temperature of 190-232°C, these bags achieve an air to cloth ratio of 5:1 and at times, 6:1.
6. An excellent thermal plasticity makes our PPC filter bag ideal for thermal filtration.
Practical Usage The PPS needle felt filter bag is one of our most popular filtration products and has found a wide array of uses in coal fired boilers, waste incinerators and power plants. Most often they are used for dust collection and powder removal. According to actual working conditions, Filtertex can add a number of additional treatments to the bag, making them waterproof, oil repellent, and giving them a PTFE coating.
