Shunt Reactor
Shunt reactor of BKSC(G) series is suitable for use in 35kV high voltage power supply systems or lower. It serves the purpose of providing inductive power to counteract the effect of line capacitance on the power transmission line.
Also known as inductive load reactor, the shunt reactor prevents voltage increase at the receiving end of a light-load power supply system, thereby maintaining a stable line voltage, improving power factor and saving energy.
Standards
1.GB/T 10229-1988
2.IEC 289: 1987
Features of Shunt Reactor
1. Haolai dry-type reactor features a computer-optimized design and can be custom built to customer specific requirements for electrical performance and specifications.
2. High-strength, dual-strand fiber glass is used between adjacent layers of windings for optimal isolation.
3. Epoxy resin casting is used for insulation as well.
4. The iron core is made of quality silicon steel plates stacked upon one another. Ceramic and hard alloy tools are used to cut the steel plate to ensure quality.
5. Reduced noise level
6. Low core loss compared with an air-core reactor, flame-retardant, pollution-free, reliable, easy to install.
