Medium Frequency Induction Melting Furnace
An important machine in the sector of thermal engineering, the medium frequency induction furnace is widely used in the smelting of metals like steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, gold, and silver.
Working Principle
The medium frequency induction melting furnace, which consists of a medium frequency power supply, a compenstaion capacitor, and a smelting furnace, is designed for turning the 50Hz current to medium frequency (300Hz to 1000Hz). After bying rectified, the three-phase alternating current is turned into direct current and later into adjustable medium frequency current. The medium frequency alternating current travels past the induction coil and produces high-intensity magnetic line of force which cuts the metal materials inside the coil, creating large eddy currents in the metal in order to heat the metal.
The medium frequency induction melting furnace has a good performance in electromagnetic agitation that is helps even the melting temperature and the metal structure. The agitation property also makes the slag easier to rise above the liquid metal, thus reducing impurities in the gold ingots.
Wide frequency range: from 1kHz to 20kHz;
Energy saving by more than 20%;
Small size and light weight with melting capacity ranging from a few kilograms to hundreds of kilograms;
When the medium frequency induction melting furnace is of normal temperature, the melting time for every batch is 50~60mins; when of high temperature, the time is 20~20mins.
