Description
The PWV series of pressure controlled water valves are used in ice makers, water cooling systems and freezing systems. It is designed to maintain the pressure at a set value in order to maintain normal operations and increase the refrigeration effect. It also saves water by cooling water already in circulation. These valves are usually installed on the inlet of the condenser, which regulates the flow of cooling water according to the change of the condensing pressure. When the condensing pressure inside the compressor increases, the valve automatically turns up to allow more cooling water to enter and accelerate the condensing process of the refrigerant. On the flip side, when the condensing pressure inside the compressor drop s, the valve will close, reducing the amount of cooling water and thus, maintaining the pressure within the applicable range.
