Reinforcing Mesh
Reinforcement Wire / Steel Mesh / Steel Reinforcement
Reinforcing mesh is made up of welded steel bars arranged to maximize its strength. The finished mesh can be surrounded by concrete, where at acts as an internal skeleton, adding strength to the structure as a whole. Steel mesh is widely used in industrial and civil building structures all over the world. Our reinforcement meshes conform to the "Specifications for Design of Highway Cement Concrete Pavement" (JTG D40)
Classification of Reinforcing Mesh
Raw materials for the reinforcing mesh can be divided into: cold-rolling ribbed steel mesh, cold-drawing round steel mesh, hot-rolling ribbed steel mesh. Among them, cold-rolling ribbed steel mesh is the most widely used. Reinforcing mesh can be classified into fixed steel mesh and customized steel mesh according to steel models, diameter, length and mesh aperture.
Advantages of Reinforcing Mesh
1. To improve project quality
Reinforcing mesh produced by fully automatic production line, its mesh size, specifications and quality have been strictly controlled to avoid the omissions, errors when it have been banded manually. The steel mesh are strong, flexible, and precise, ensuring the quality of the project.
2. Anti-seismic movement and anti-crack
The steel reinforcement within concrete allows structures to stay standing even in the event of seismic activity such as earthquakes.
3. Speed up the construction progress
Steel reinforcing mesh is quickly laid out and can then be filled in with concrete. This process is significantly faster than construction using stone or brick.
Application of Reinforcing Mesh
1. Cement concrete pavement engineering
2. Bridge engineering
3. Tunnel lining
Wire diameter | Mesh space | Mesh width | Mesh length | Special specifications |
4-16mm | 50-200mm | 700-3500mm | 800-12000mm | custom-made |
Applications
Reinforcing mesh is widely used in industrial and civil building for pillars, floor, roofs, walls, pavement, airport runways, tunnel lining, culverts, dock flooring, precast and other fields.
