Aerial Fiber Optic Cable

Description
Aerial fiber optic cables are used in self-supporting aerial installations, and usually hung on poles. It is a loose tube fiber cable made of a central 250um optic fiber, surrounded by a water blocking material and outer loose tube made of a highly modulus material. The loose tube fiber cable is then twisted around a central strength member to form a round cable core. The cable core is then sheathed with APL and steel stranded wires, then squeezed in a figure 8 PE jacket.
