This green crystalline powder is the raw material used to make animal feed additives and fungicides. Processed into an ultra-fine powder and given an additive, copper oxychloride can become a wettable powder for protecting plants from fungi and bacterium. It allows for no drug resistance.

Compared to Copper Sulfate
1. For use in animal feed, copper oxychloride is more popular than copper sulfate as it contains more copper and costs less to transport and store.
2. Copper oxychloride is insoluble in water and doesn't absorb moisture, eliminating the damage that inorganic compounds may bring to the feed nutrients.
